A new Bowling Club is being constructed for new members of the Bowlr family Desborough BC at a new site in Maidenhead, Berkshire.
A multi-million pound development is underway to relocate the 112 year old bowls club from its current premises in York Road, to a new state-of-the-art building in Green Lane.
Roger Wyatt, General Secretary of Desborough Bowling Club, comments, “We are delighted that, after lengthy negotiations with the Planning Authority for over 3 years, the development has now been approved and building work will commence on site to be completed in Spring 2019. The move will also ensure that we can continue to grow and remain an important part of the local community.”
