Our History

It all started in 2015 with a chance encounter at Dolphin Indoor Bowls Club. The manager at the time mentioned the headaches they were having with their clunky, outdated management system - a counterintuitive interface, slow loading times, mobile unfriendliness, and more.

We knew there had to be a better way to handle club admin, so we agreed to create a system that met their needs in a much easier, more streamlined way. This system would eventually become Bowlr!

After building the system and integrating it into the club's operations, we were met with a wave of positive feedback from both the club committee and members. We realised that Bowlr didn’t just have to be a one-club solution and started reaching out to other clubs. Soon, one club became two, then five, then ten... Fast forward to today, and over 175 clubs across the UK are now powered by Bowlr!

How to Get Started With Bowlr

Ready to dive in? Here's how the process will go:

 1. Book a Call

The first step is easy - contact us! You can do it by filling out our online form, emailing info@bowlr.com, or giving us a call on 01202 684400.

During the call, we'll walk you through everything Bowlr can do for your club. We'll show you how it works and answer any questions you might have, so you know exactly what to expect going forwards.

 2. Make a Decision

After we chat, we'll give you some space to think about everything we discussed - no pressure. If you decide Bowlr sounds like a good fit, just let us know and we'll get you started right away!

 3. Fill Out a Short Questionnaire

We'll ask you for some basic details about your club, such as your email address and the number of rinks you currently have. This helps us customise the system to fit your needs perfectly.

 4. Get Started With Bowlr

Once we have your info, we can get your bowls club rolling with Bowlr. We'll take care of everything, from setting up the software to transferring over your existing data. We'll make sure all the features in your chosen package are up and running, then double-check everything to guarantee a smooth experience.

 5. Unlock Bowlr’s Full Potential

We'll finish with a Teams training session to set you up for success. We'll walk you through all the features in your new system, explain how you can make the most out of them, and answer any questions you have left. By the end, you’ll be 100% ready to make your club the best it can be with Bowlr.
